….Fellow goodbyes to brother Josh
June 8, 2007
How great it is to see God’s creation. To see his mighty works, and power of the holy spirit. I praise God for our brother Josh. Through him God has sent many life changing sermons, memories, experiences, and convictions. He’s been a real blessing to the youth group at friendship baptist. To see his walk of faith grow over the time he has been with us is even more of a blessing. As josh says his leaving is ”bitter sweet” Bitter because he is leaving Friendship Baptist Church, leaving family, and friends. Yet sweet because he has been seeking God’s word and has laid it on his heart the new calling of seminary…..praise God. and what’s even more of an encouragment is that our brother josh has felt the tug of God and has accecpted it and answered back by obeying it. Just letting God lead and him being a follower, and its all done by FAITH….
as I think back on all of the memories we’ve had: the fun times, the sad times, the hardships and the times where it just seems where we just get together and just pray for what seems like for hours and just pooring it all out to God together. Im gunna miss all that. the fun times: where we would just get together for Gods sake and just worship, and read and just to have sweet fellowship that’s a christian’s fun time. The sad times: the disagreements that would bring us to tears yet closer together the dealing with death as we’ve had a few this past year. The hardships: where we would just get agverated with each other wile in the mean time leaning patients just as GOD IS LONG-SUFFERING. and how I cherish the times of prayer where it seemed to last forever. Just being able to see some of the things others struggles with or to hear glory being given to God, or just praying for each other in general for God to help us with the hardships and struggles weather it be worldly or Godly. That is a christians love for GOD and for each other and no matter what we will be there together untill the end….together we stand for GOD by GRACE Boldly will we enter the kingdom of heaven.
So as we say our fellow goodbyes to our brother Josh keep him in our prayer that he may continue to seek the kingdom of God 1st. Seeking scripture and waiting until he maks his answer clear to him where he’ll be heading next. Praise God for you.
you’ve been more of a blessing than I can begin to explain, praise and Glory be to God our father for you. Amen

WOW Johnny,
that is awesome praise God. You gave him so much glory. I know we will all miss our brother in Christ and will all look forward to seeing what plans God has laid out in our lives as well, Josh has been an insipration to us all, as a godly man, great youth pastor, and a wonderful friend. God has truly blessed him in so many ways and in turn blessed us as well through him.
I pray that God will continue to direct Josh in the paths he has laid out since before times began, and that Josh will continue to follow said plans by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ!!
